Notice also the differences in the on-screen appearances. Hogan has the camera pointed at his chin and at enough distance to show his head and shoulders. He also made sure to have plenty of light, specially in front of him. The car picture in the wall behind him makes the scene a bit more interesting, too.
Brauer pointed the camera at his nose and bit too close so that the shoulders are barely visible. The lighting is also off, with at least two light sources of different color making a mess of his face, and everything looks murky. The monochrome wall behind him is boring.
And then Amthe went for a
vertical up-the-nose position,
centering the image on his forehead and filling half of the frame with ceiling
